BILL MALLOW... was one of those people who did a lot of work in the background, was responsible for many successes but was rarely in the limelight.

A Scot through and through, he first joined the Aliathon Bowling Club on his arrival in Cyprus before moving to our club on its formation where he became the first club secretary – a post he held until his sad death in September 2009.
 

Bill was the conscience of the club.  He helped set up the constitution and made sure the club was run in a proper manner.  He was a massive help to the various captains and will be remembered with great affection.  All clubs need a Bill Mallow and the our Bowling Club was lucky to have the original item.
