Louis Phaethon Bowling Club
Our membership, at present, is just under 70 members, the majority of whom took up the game when they moved to Cyprus. We have two very experienced coaches who can provide potential new members with free coaching! We have regular bowls competitions for the more competitive amongst us, as well as a very active social calendar, with organised activities most months of the year, including dinner dances, games evenings, quizzes, the occasional visit to the Nicosia racetrack and even a donkey safari!
During the winter months in Cyprus we also have a number of friendly matches against visiting UK Bowls Clubs. If your club wishes to arrange games against the Louis Phaethon during your tour, please contact our Match Secretary.
We are a member of Bowls Cyprus, the national association for bowling in Cyprus, and regularly compete against the other three clubs on the island in national competitions and leagues. Bowls Cyprus has an international squad and has already competed in competitions throughout the world.
